Kookaburra Village is an exciting place to live for the over 50s, a purpose built family owned and operated village of quality manufactured and on-site built homes, located just 4km from the centre of Caloundra on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast. Enjoy relaxed living in a secure environment amongst gorgeous sub-tropical gardens. There are several options, the choice is yours - buy or rent a home or villa; or consider rental accommodation in "The Mews" which contains 58 one and two bedroom apartments completed in 2013. Should you choose to buy, the village is operated under the Queensland Manufactured Homes (Residential Parks) Act 2003. In most cases resident’s rents are paid through Centrelink or the Department of Veteran Affairs. Aged and over 50’s disability pensioners can also apply for rental assistance.

All the amenities required for modern and easy living are also accessible - shopping centres, restaurants, airports, golf courses, race track, hospitals and associated medical centres are all within a short distance. A government public Translink bus stop with frequent services to the town and nearby Services Club is adjacent to the entrance of Kookaburra Village.
Numerous charity and RSL clubs also offer courtesy buses to the town and nearby clubs. For peace of mind there is a resident custodian living at the village. With approval small animals are most welcome at Kookaburra Village.
